Haha...sorry Clem, that is just one story too interesting to let go. Anyway, been trying to understand "Brother's Kamarazov".
Btw, MayC, I'll cheer for your part. and I'll tell Wong Choon han you have his posterS in your room.
=============================================================
This blog....is especially dedicated to my junior Kan Wye Marn @ Tai lou.
This guy came in about a month ago and is having hell in Japan. Mainly bothered by studies (Can't catch what lects are jappering about) ...he hardly have a day which he can call "a normal day"....don't get me wrong, I don't mean to ridicule him here. It was just the same for me last year when I just got here. But I didn't complain or nag at my senior.....GAWD this guy can really nag....nag...nag...nag..nag....sheesh, even my left ear is bleeding now as I type. And what I get from a burst left eardrum?? and understanding that his favourite word is "shit".
Anyway, to make matters more "EXCITING" he decided to take up cooking. You see, he didn't really enjoy the food in the cafeteria and I don't find his comments on the food interesting either. So, yesterday, May 1st 2006 was a big day for him......he fried his own chicken and cooked his own vegetables. As for me, my big day was this afternoon when i had to cook my lunch using a partly melted frying pan.
Okay....can't blame beginners.....
For today's dinner, he decided to cook oyster sauce chicken with potatoes....so, along with my guidance, he manage to get everything done and left it to boil. And i left him on his own to do the finishing touches.....and he eventually burn the whole thing down. You see, I told him that the longer you leave it to boil, the nicer it is cos' the taste will "go inside" the meat. Being a good listener...he did just that....but (God knows why) he didn't know that water eventually dries. AND after 10-15 minutes of "leaving it to boil" .....the whole place stink of burnt rubber and he had to chow down "charcoal" for dinner.
I actually have tonnes and tonnes of criticism .................... but then again, who am I to comment right?? It's not like I was ever perfect.
Sigh.....just as I thought I could finally live a peaceful life.....fate always makes it exciting.

Cheering for Malaysia for the 1st time.
Hmm...from your comments I get the impression that you guys think I'm crapping stories up just to entertain you fellas. Well, sorry to dissapoint you guys. I was and am NOT crapping. I know it's weird and fishy and bullshitty that ridiculous things keep happening to me but hey, it's not my fault if the world wants to find fault with me right?? At least my ridiculousness didn't result in burning my own room down!! (Check out "Fiery experience by Sarawakian's tale)
And NCS, I enjoyed Mitch Albom's books and "The Undomestic Goddess" by Sophie Kinsella. Currently trying to read Dostoyevsky....key word, "trying".
(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)(',)
I'm embarrass to admit that despite being a Malaysian, I've never cheered for Malaysians teams before (for any international sport event) . Well, I don't think I'm the only one...heck, I've even met people who are proud that they've never supported Malaysian team, including some of you readers. Don't blame you guys though...there never was any strong reason to support our team anyway.
HOWEVER.....this wednesday, I'm going to get my chance to redeem myself as a Malaysian. You see, I'm having my 1 week long holiday starting this Wednesday....which is in conjunction with the Thomas Cup quaterfinal. I don't know what the reason is but I'm actually looking forward to see Malaysian shuttlers in action and cheer my lungs out for them. Well, not exactly "I" but a big bunch of us....mainly students who's studying in japan. (Why we all get so worked-up and patriotic only when we are overseas...I don't know) . We gonna meet up in Tokyo and go cheering together. Uhh....umm....how to cheer in Bahasa Malaysia?? Seems to have forgotten....all I know now is "Ganbatte" and last I heard, Wong Choon Han and friends fon't speak Jap.
Of course I'm assuming that Malaysian team advanced to the quaterfinal stage. News says they played England today....although I'm in Japan, I spent my day today polishing asses...(to me it's doingt ASSignments, don't really like doing em' so, refuse to think of any nice word for it) so I am not updated on the results yet. They seemed pretty confident as they said they'll rest the top players and save em' for Indonesia or China.
MALAYSIA BOLEHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Other than being excited about Thomas cup....I'm also looking forward to my friends comments towards me as I don't "generate" crap that fast or frequent anymore....One of my very old friend once commented "Feels a little cold don't you think?? ...No, I'm not talking about the weather." And this is the one comment that bothered me the most. I wonder if I've change for the worse...if I have indeed turned to be cold....if I've changed from being friendly to being stuck up....if I'm feared (mainly japs).
Know what?? I sometimes wonder if by using most of my crap here, I balance myself by not talking so much crap outside. The world DO revolve around "BALANCE" anyway. It's like I've fulfilled myself here so, there's not much desire to crap out there. Hmm...for the first time I think there's actually a need for me to read Joke books to keep up with you guys!!!!
PS: Keep an eye out for the news...soon there'll be a headline "World's Eighth wonder....Ketam studying a joke book"

The guy who wouldn't hurt a fly...
The reason I changed my blog title form "a crap's journey in Japan" to Codename M.A.F.I.A is because...well, no one else here calls me ketam, it's as simple as that. BUT...I do have another nickname here....mafia.
I've long suspect the reason behind this nickname is because I wear a pair of glasses that turns dark when exposed to sunlight, thus bringing out the "sunglasses effect". And add that to my body size...most people find me mysterious, dangerous, scary. And don't forget that I don't speak as much as I used to...cold as people say I am, just don't have the feeling to talk much nonsense anymore. I do smile occasionally at people whom I know but otherwise I keep a straight face.
The first time I was called mafia was when I fist get to know the 5th year students here last year. After they got close to me, they told me that they were afraid of me .....heck, some were even afraid to even exchange glances with me!!!
The second case was when attendance taking during P.E. ...My instructor was sitting down when I went to him. He looked up at me and litterally almost fell off the chair!! He thought I was some ...well, some mafia.
But the best of the best cases I ever faced was yesterday. You see, I was at this supermarket wanting to buy some fish. (Yeah, mafia buying fish...funny shit but that's not my story). I was parking my bicycle when two lil' girls, aged 3 and 5, ran outside the supermarket. The 5 year old was chasing her sister yelling ..."Hey! don't go running around or you'll get lost. There's also dangerous people around". She then points at me and says ..."Oh look, a ROBBER is here". The 3 year old take one look at me, shrunk back at her sis and they both ran back inside, blocking the door.
Why on earth are they blocking the door?? I was not there to kidnap kids, I was there to buy my stinking fish!!!
Sigh...well, I may look like a mafia buy they just don't know that I'm the kind of guys that wouldn't hurt a fly.....
PS: Whacking my friends I still might though...hehe

The passion of photography.
I was god of japanese in Malaysia?? Huh...was I? Wow...never knew that to be. Thanks though. And uhh...for my juniors in japan, don't worry too much ....しょうがねよ、できるだけ頑張ればいいの!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Having not using my vidcam for some time (also because of my recent PC prob, my photos and vids got erased) I've somehow lost my passion for photography and videography (this word exist?). I just do not feel like taking any pics at all....nor be taken also.
But this afternoon, I somehow relighted my desire for picture taking. You see, just this afternoon, me, my college's friends together with Izyan and Ili went to a nearby park to see tulips. It's mid-spring now and tulips are blooming proudly to take over the once prided, but fallen sakuras. Like a typical picnic, we all brought food with us and had a great lunch there, we had bee hoon goreng, keropok, meatball, cheese cake(probably the best stuff there)....I brought along Cengkodok pisang that i made myself but too bad it was a lil' too salty(probably the worst stuff).....all in all it was a great gathering. Done with stuffing ourselves, we went on to do what we went there for, enjoy the tulips.
At first I was..." Nah, it's just flowers...no reason to fuss with a camera" but as I tread my way through the flower beds.....the forgotten beauty of flowers overwhelmed me.
The innocent pink.....
The pure and elegant white...
Vibrant yellow...
Burning red....
There's even purple one with white edges, just like it was made up with lipstick....
And then for the first time in many months....I felt like taking photos. I mean, I really had a strong urge to push the "snap" button. Wanted soo badly to preserve what beauty I was witnessing. I could actually imagine myself standing there taking still pics....what angles I would take them, how much close up, sunlight effect...Never had i ever felt so restless before.
Then again.....never did I knew flowers would hold such an effect on me!
Language Handicaps...
Yeah, just as i was bragging away at being "God of English" ... i forgotten the fact that I'm still a handicap when it comes to Japanese Language.
Just this afternoon, during my last lecture of the day, my lecturer gave us a "hand-in-or-you- ain't- going-back" kind of assignment. My assignment was about ropes@cables used in various fields...from elevators to constuction. We were suppose to read our text books and compare different kinds of ropes@cables listed. Class officially ends at 4.40 p.m. but since most of my classmates finished their assignments fast, they get to go back early. As for me, I was in the class until 5.00 p.m .
Damn....I can barely understand the text written!!! And I had to pick this day of all days to forget my electronic dictionary. Thus, I was struggling my ass off....finnally finishing it with help from one of my classmate. And then this thought occured to me...
"What's the point of being worshipped for English when I have to live by Japanese language!!!".
Speaking of which, my junior, a guy from Ipoh, is also struggling here. He suffers not understanding what lects write and speak. And worse still, he's not confident enough of his Japanese to ask around. Seeing how much he struggles, I actually admire myself for being able to survive the last year. W-O-W.....
Well, guess I still have a loooong way to go in Japan. お互いに頑張ろう!!!
PS: That means all the best to myself.....more or less.
PC: Problematic Crap
Haha....yeah, old me being a teacher. Anyway, yes Kelly, you do get treated like god when you utter one simple, harmless word in english. Here in my college, lesturers have especially low self confidence when it comes to speaking scientific terms in english. They, full grown men with wrinkles on their forehead and grey hair, would say one english term and then look at me with big, shiny, watery eyes....along with quivering eyebrows (ya know, just like when a lil' cute girl ask her mom for a candy) until I nod my head in approvement of their pronunciation. And now that i'm in my 4th year, it's gotten worse. Lects now thinks that I know everything, just like the Oracle in the Matrix. Sigh....another year of worshipness in Japan.
##########################################################
PC...most people would say that it's "Personal Computer". Well, I beg to differ.....to me, it's Problematic Contraption....or just plain Crap.
You see, I brought with me Windows XP Professional SP2 from Malaysia back to Japan. And so I tried upgrading my PC from SP1 to SP2 . Well, after i loaded my cd, it failed to fully detect my hard disk drive (HDD). My hard disk is 250 Gbyte....but it detected only 130 Gbyte. And so i lost all my recorded video clips and photos....all those pics and movies that I've treasured soooo much. All those funny pics and vids. All my masterpieces.......
I then tried to load my old SP1 cd...guess what? That ciplak Malaysian CD did something to the HDD...and I had to reformat everything!! And there goes my songs...all of it.
Then at that moment of non-chemical, non-preservative, pure frustation, I was enlightened. I realised that as globally used as English is, it have not yet created enough words for me to curse at my PC at my moment of frustating frustation. This could be my shortest entry yet, The End.
PS: To say that i would go for the original from now onwards, nah..... RM10 Cds are just to temtpting to deny.
Kelas diri....SELAMAT PAGI CIKGU!!
If you guys thought my craziness' is at max level, DEAD WRONG!!
Just as I myself thought I couldn't do anymore crazy stuff, I did. I manage to get myself hired as an English Teacher. Yep...you are not suffering from reading disorder. An English Teacher. HAH!!! Someone should tell Audrey about this. For those who don't know Audrey, she's the God of English back in high school. She's soooo good in english that we actually had a shrine worshipping her. My english is ..uhh....okay-la, boleh pakai la....but hey, look who's teaching english now!!
I'm teaching not at a tuition center but at a NPO (Non-profit org). My first class was this afternoon actually.....Met up with the president of that org, had lunch..then began my class. My students were two elderly people at their sixties. Mr. Takahashi and Mrs. Ueno. I taught them how to give a proper self introduction, taught them how to engage a simple conversation (hobbies and stuff). but most importantly.....I taught them how to crap! Damn....my boss was sooooo impressed by their crap that she hired me on the spot!!!
Having done my first lesson, I found myself enjoying it very much. I felt a certain pride in me when they gave their perfect self intro in english. Well yeah, it don't sound all too perfect but it is to me. Seeing their proud smiles on their faces gave me this....this...sense of self satisfaction that I've never felt before in my life. I never knew that being a teacher is actually one of life's hidden miracles (ehem....given that student is not someone like me of course. If i ever have to teach someone like me, Damn! it'll be hell!!). Now, I understand why our teachers loves us so much. Speaking of which, an old friend of mine, Egbert, is in training to become a teacher. For the fact that i'm on an engineer's path, I actually envy him a lot.
I uhmm....like to take back my word about doing something crazy. Being a teacher is different. Man, am I looking forward to my next lesson!!!
My "Visit" to Malaysia.
Yep, visit. I chosed to use the word "visit" instead of "homecoming" because that's exactly how i felt during my visit back home.
Don't get me wrong though, going back was great. As a matter of fact it's the best time i've ever had the last 12 months. First of all, it was great meeting up with my old folks. Ya know....I purposely did another braid right before i got home. My parents must have missed me a lot since they did not strangle me on the spot after they saw my braided hair and especially after i told them it cost me RM200. Haha....you can say that i was "Challenging" my old folks. Well, didn't last long though. You see, my mum started nagging at me after a week at home. It started with :
"Randy, why don't you cut your hair?"
"Randy, to be honest, your braid's not nice"
"Randy, don't want to cut your hair ah?"
"Randy, long hair don't suit you, you know..."
"Randy..."
OKAY!! Let's get a haircut shall we? Sigh...mothers...
Then there was meeting my old buddies....I must be lucky because I got to meet up most of my friends. Those already in Melaka, Danny...he got a new girlfriend whom i'd like to refer as The Energizer Bunny, no offence though, fun girl to chat too. Samson, well, he's got the hots for a girl who plays squash..hmm, seems like he have a liking for girls who's "good with hands" (Are you thinking what i'm thinking? wink* wink* ) Then there's Olive...she brought back 10 kg of books from India. There's Kulvinder...still slim and pretty as ever. I went out for dinner with her once and a bunch of STSD' ians (it's my highschool name) thought we were couples...haha, if only I was that lucky. then there's Ai Jun...non-stop blaring about Irish guys, Irish hunks, Irish gentlement. Last when I saw her pic, i prepared myself with a long list of fat jokes but...she wasn't as fat as I thought...still fat, but not fat enough. Fat jokes was also aimed at Ern Suey but...I was also fat at that time so....Also, met up with Lemak (Lim Kian Min)...fat as hell. Ah Zhuang's still as spontaneous and funny as usual. Oh, went up to KL to see Hang Seng and Shao Yin. Hang Seng's still Hang Seng....no change or what-so-ever. Shao Yin's got a new boyfriend...you should have seen them together, nerd's dream come true.
And not forgetting..Kenny. I didn't see him..just wanted to. Really didn't have the time for it. Sorry dude.
So how I spent my time? Like I said in my previous blog, C-H-E-W. Ate soooo much that there's this one time, I was wearing one of my usual pants. I sat down, let go a sigh, and my button POP! Damn, I was shocked as hell at that time. You know...like when you seat down and suddenly your pants button come flying at you. . . . . . . . . . Okay, I get it I'm fat. So what? Lemak's been fat since forever....i could handle one month being fat. hmm, I wonder what's for dinner....
ANYWAY....I'm Randy. My life's not so simple as "Eat and get fat". I'm not Kian Min. I managed to drag my fat ass to Pulau Lang Tengah in Terengganu. WOW, that is a beautiful place. Went there with P.I.C Jeremy and P.I.C Fook Hee and another Jap guy. Was there for 3D 2N, went snorkelling for two days straight and manage to get a sun burn (Now I'm fat and black..what next?). At the island, we met with a bunch of Singaporean, 5 of em' actually. Let's see...umm...they are Jeremy (Singapore version), Eddie, Kai ling, Antoina and Charlene. Jeremy and Fook Hee both like Charlene as she's the cutest in the group. Fook Hee's saying it out in the open all the time but P.I.C Jeremy's denying all the time. Hah, deny all you want P.I.C Jeremy, I caught you stealing glances a few times!!
And then.....and then I got bored. I actually felt like going back to Japan already!! I don't know why but I just feels that way. Felt like I need to get back and actually do some work. Relaxing and playing too much already. Now that I'm back in my room in Japan...I actually feel good about it. Never knew that I can get restless after only a month in Malaysia!!
Don't get me wrong though, going back was great. As a matter of fact it's the best time i've ever had the last 12 months. First of all, it was great meeting up with my old folks. Samson, well, he's got the hots for a girl who plays squash..hmm, seems like he have a liking for girls who's "good with hands" (Are you thinking what i'm thinking? wink* wink* ) Then there's Olive...she brought back 10 kg of books from India. There's Kulvinder...still slim and pretty as ever. I went out for dinner with her once and a bunch of STSD' ians (it's my highschool name) thought we were couples...haha, if only I was that lucky. then there's Ai Jun...non-stop blaring about Irish guys, Irish hunks, Irish gentlement. Last when I saw her pic, i prepared myself with a long list of fat jokes but...she wasn't as fat as I thought...still fat, but not fat enough. Fat jokes was also aimed at Ern Suey but...I was also fat at that time so....Also, met up with Lemak (Lim Kian Min)...fat as hell. Ah Zhuang's still as spontaneous and funny as usual. Oh, went up to KL to see Hang Seng and Shao Yin. Hang Seng's still Hang Seng....no change or what-so-ever. Shao Yin's got a new boyfriend...you should have seen them together, nerd's dream come true.
And not forgetting..Kenny. I didn't see him..just wanted to. Really didn't have the time for it. Sorry dude.
So how I spent my time? Like I said in my previous blog, C-H-E-W. Ate soooo much that there's this one time, I was wearing one of my usual pants. I sat down, let go a sigh, and my button POP! Damn, I was shocked as hell at that time. You know...like when you seat down and suddenly your pants button come flying at you. . . . . . . . . . Okay, I get it I'm fat. So what? Lemak's been fat since forever....i could handle one month being fat. hmm, I wonder what's for dinner....
ANYWAY....I'm Randy. My life's not so simple as "Eat and get fat". I'm not Kian Min. I managed to drag my fat ass to Pulau Lang Tengah in Terengganu. WOW, that is a beautiful place. Went there with P.I.C Jeremy and P.I.C Fook Hee and another Jap guy. Was there for 3D 2N, went snorkelling for two days straight and manage to get a sun burn (Now I'm fat and black..what next?). At the island, we met with a bunch of Singaporean, 5 of em' actually. Let's see...umm...they are Jeremy (Singapore version), Eddie, Kai ling, Antoina and Charlene. Jeremy and Fook Hee both like Charlene as she's the cutest in the group. Fook Hee's saying it out in the open all the time but P.I.C Jeremy's denying all the time. Hah, deny all you want P.I.C Jeremy, I caught you stealing glances a few times!!
And then.....and then I got bored. I actually felt like going back to Japan already!! I don't know why but I just feels that way. Felt like I need to get back and actually do some work. Relaxing and playing too much already. Now that I'm back in my room in Japan...I actually feel good about it. Never knew that I can get restless after only a month in Malaysia!!
Culture shock in Malaysia....
+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+
Yeah... i'm back and kickin' in Melaka. Been one week or so already actually....and my PC a.k.a personal computer a.k.a problematic crap ....were giving problems so.....no entries till today. Anyway, what I did the whole week was chew. Yeah, you heard it right....C-H-E-W. I'll eat like 4, 5 times a day...double porpotion all the time. Really took my own sweet time enjoying the local food.....and since i've been eating all the time and like, move muscles other than mouth and intestines for only about 2 hours in 10 days, i'm starting to grow fat. Yup, tub of lard is now hanging off my once flat abs. But what the hell, I'll worry later....ok, makan time!!
+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*++*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+*+
I still remember the last few weeks before i flew to Japan. This one JPA or PSD officer was telling us about how we are getting culture shock when we reach Japan. Well, little did I know that I'll have mine one whole year later. If you didn't get what i mean, I meant that i got my culture shock after I step on Malaysian soil last week.
Being away for a whole year in Japan, I was given the opportunity to take a look at Malaysia from a totally different angle. I now see all kinds of stuffs that I unintentionally ignored.
Know what?? Naruto speaks in an alien language!!! Took me a whole 10 minutes to figure out that it was Bahasa. Haha..just kidding.
I touchdown at K.Kinabalu in the evening around 6.30 (I took a connecting flight instead of a direct one) . We were allowed 1 hour break before being airborne again. First place i headed to was the toilet. The floor was wet and dirty and stank of urine, they were even out of toilet paper. If They are making K.K airport an international airport, why not "try" make it a decent one? For goodness sake, it STANK!! Passengers who have travelled a loooong journey shouldn't be treated with such place. It's suppose to be a place for them to freshen up.
I then headed out to the shops....Back in Japan, I was pampered with "WELCOME" shouts the moment i step into any shop. Here, the shop keeper don't even bother to give a simple smile...especially the ones who were soo engrossed in SMS. Come on....you're suppose to be working!!
Then, I walk past a Customs gate. Well, guess what? It was empty. An empty counter at the bank I can still tolerate but at the customs gates?? Worse, a few meters a way I saw this male customs officer flirting with this female officer. What the .... WHAT were They thinking??!!! So much for a reliable security.
Anyway guys, those stuff you just read were just the "kids" stuff for me.
I meant a more sensitive issue actually. Got all kinds of infos from reading newspapers in Japan. Don't know who might be reading here so I won't say out openly here. Or should I say no point saying things we all already know. No point debating the unchangeble. Guys....y'all should try read papers from outside Malaysia. That's where I get the widest view.
PS: It actually felt weird not speaking Japanese....I tend to answer in japanese sometimes. My friends thought i were just showing off but...they just comes out without warning ya know.
My last few days here in Japan...
*Back in the days when I was studying in KL*
SCCRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!
Me: What? What happened??
Ex-Roomie Jeremy: Oh my gog...oh my god...OMG....OMG...OMG....Omgod...
Me: Jeremy! Relax....what happened?
E.R Jeremy: Look at this!! Tell me what this is?!!
Me: Err....your...stomache??
E.R Jeremy: No! It's fats!! F-A-T-S!! Oohhhhh, just look at me, I'm fat, and I have this tub or lard hanging out of my belly.....
Me: (Said nothing but raised left eyebrow higher than The Rock's)
E.R Jeremy: Humph...I'm going jogging to lose some weight....
Moments later...
Someone: Hey Jeremy! Wow...didn't know you like to jog.
E.R Jeremy: Well, it's uhh..umm....
*Suddenly, a shining, brand new, bright lightbulb appeared above his head*
E.R Jeremy: You know, Randy's a terrible roomate. I'm jogging cos' it gives me this "run-away feeling" You know what I'm saying??
Someone: Haha
E.R Jeremy: Haha
Someone: Haha
And so you have it...the truth....heh heh...but now back to today's topic.
My last few days here...
As you know, i'm officially on holidays (used the word "official" cos' i've had many unofficial ones) . And when i'm on holiday, i tend to lose track of time. You see, before i go back home, I have to apply a re-entry permit or else.....yup, just that. The authorities told me to apply or else....
Anyway, since I lost track of time, I went to the Municipal...on Sunday.
It was soo stupid of me...It was 2 in the afternoon, I went up to the reception and ask them if they close early on Mondays (I seriously thought it was Monday!!)...She gave me one hell of weird stare and politely said that they don't open on Sundays.
What I was trying to convey here was not my embarassing Sunday-Monday mix up but the fact that they have reception on Sundays. I was surprised cos' in M'sia, no such stuff right?? Heck, even M'sia reception are sometimes absent on working hours!! And here they have reception on Sundays just to tell people they are close. Speachless....
Next day, which was yesterday, I went again to the municipal to settle my re-entry permit. I was redirected to another counter. When i asked where the counter was, instead of easily pointing her finger and waving me away, she brought me there personally....aww, how nice. Okay, settled my permit, time to retreat. It was raining that day so, on my way out, one of the receptionist called out to me and offered me an umbrella, courtesy of the Government, said she didn't want me to catch a cold.....WOW!!! Again...speachless.
But i declined politely as I have my trusty Jacket with me. It was nice of her to offer though...you kidding me? I was moved to tears!!
And so...I headed to the train station to get back to my retreat. On my way back, while crossing a river, I noticed something as I stood on the bridge....what is that swimming in the river? What on earth....well I'll be damn, DUCK! I see DUCKS!!! There's ducks swimming happily in the river! I never knew ducks could survive in rivers in a city. Rivers I knew (Sungai Klang)were brown and corrosive, ducks would be killed instantly, corroded to the bones the moment it touches the river and then carried along the river...adding more brown to the already impossibly brown river. And here we have ducks....swimming around as if Adam never set foot on Earth. Speachless.....
Seems to me that Japan knew I was going home, and it tries to lure me to stay. But hell!! I'm going back no matter what!! See ya fellas this thursday....
Neighbours gone crazy....
Once again, I'd like to start off by saying things that have got nothing to do with the title:
Well, someone special must have been reading my blog....right after i posted the Valentine's entry, a girl came to my window, knock on it....and gave me a piece cake. Hmm...my life isn't cursed after all....so, I'd like to say..... HAH!! In your face, love-chain-letters!!
************************************************************************************
Recently, something weird and mysterious have occured in my college. I'd like to call it....The Chronicle of the Mysterious Fat Guy @ MFG, No witch but me as a neighbour...which is just as bad, No lions (What you crazy? This isn't a zoo!) , Just his Wardrobe.
Once upon a time, long long ago....which is about three weeks ago. I can call it "long long ago" and put in 4 dots, right? It IS three weeks after all, 21 days ya know .... damn long lar wei....
Anyway, about three weeks ago, my M'sian senior, MFG, who's doing his final year here went missing. Yup, he went missing. I used to say that he's sooo fat that we can't see him, but nobody seem to laugh at that joke...hmm, must be the timing problem.
Okay...okay...sorry, i'll be serious now. The news is that he went missing. No notes, no news...nothing. He just picked up and vacated. At first, Lecturers came to check on his room because he missed his class. And just so you know anyone who plays truant, nahh...he's just a punk, Foreign student missing class, "GASP!" and everyone hold their breathe for 5 seconds. So, when he was absent for one whole day, lecturers came looking for him, and he wasn't in his room, nor seen anywhere....up till now. Last someone saw him was at the train station carrying a small bag. The college have informed the Police force and the M'sian Embassy but both authorities are still in Manhunt mode.
About him...He was never the friendly type...speaking very little. You know the phrase "won't speak unless spoken to"....well, he WON'T even speak when spoken too! Had little friends...hardly out of his room.
Then there's my other neighbour, a mongolian guy....no he's not Genghis Khan's decsendant but he can ride a horse. He....he's not fat but he's also quiet and quite a hermit crab too. Hardly out of his room, hardly socialize.... Once heard he complained that he don't enjoy college life, not one bit.
Some of my friends here commented that the main cause is me....well, they both are my neighbours after all!! Maybe I should have changed the title to, The Curse of My Neighbours...WOOOooooo.....
Ya know, these all kinda make me realise how important friendship is. And studying overseas, my friends aren't just "friends"....they are family. I mean, I felt it before when I was in M'sia but this is different....stronger I'd say. I don't have a smiling mom waiting at the door when i face a shitty day, I don't have my mom's skirt to cry on when I face a sad day. I do.. have friends though, in fact I prefer my friends to my mom cos' my friends don't nag but that's not the point. Anyway, seeing them two neighbours ....fuh, life without friends sucks. To everyone who's facing an adult life, and ESPECIALLY for my juniors who are braving their souls here this April, remember this..."no man/woman is an island" .
PS: I didn't torture nor torment my neighbours.
Story of a lonely guy...
Valentine's Day.... always the one sad and lonely day of the year. Don't know why but seems that I've always lack luck in love.... no, not that I failed during the proposing...but the fact that I can't find the girl that I really like.... I was too busy having fun as a bachelor until form 5....then I head to KL, where only 3 girls are available to 17 guys and all are chinese-speaking, some always laughing at my chinese (In a way, they teach me chinese so I don't really mind anyway) , then I'm off to Japan...dunno la guys, Jap chics don't interest me. With all those over-exxxxxagerated cuteness .... just can't take it no more.
But it's not that i never found any, just that circumstances aren't not good to start a relationship, distance issue...etc.
Hmm....I wonder if I should have forwarded all the "Send to at least 10 people or suffer a loveless life for the next 10 years" kind of thing. If all those chain letters are true, I'd be out of love for the next 200 years.....and last i check, humans don't live that long.
Note to self : Good luck la dude.....
Sigh....well, I'll talk about Valentine's in Japan instead.
Valentine's day in M'sia is guy giving girls flowers and girls giving guys cute little stuff right? In Japan, it's girls give guys chocolates....guys don't give anything. Then, on March 3rd, it's "White Day" where guys return chocolates to girls....not literally "returning", but they buy a new box of chocolate to give to girls. So, Valentine's Day is a big day for guys...I saw this one guy sitting down on the stairs looking anxious, fidgetting every 2 seconds, then his phone rings and he jumps up like there's fire under his ass...then runs outside to meet a blushing girl holding a beatifully decorated red box to match her now red cheeks.
Me? I was eating alone... wondering about that chain letters thingie...
Well actually, I'm not all that particularly interested in any Jap girls (I still like M'sian girls best!!) at the moment, but then again....you feel that kind of pang, you know what I'm saying? And luck have it that I'll be staying in Japan for quite sometime .... irony??
Nagano 3: Jack, Jill and Randy went up a hill. One came tumbling down..who?
Okay...Kelly's right, i can't keep writing old stuff....but it's not like i wanted to write old stuff ya know. I was seriously busy with this and that...mainly studies. I did quite badly for my last, so, in order to ensure myself a ticket back, I had to put in some effort. You see, if i do badly again, i have to stay back here and have a retest....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My previous entry was a bout what a good job we did, making M'sia famous...with a not so "friendly" way, but Hey!...whatever goes to get the job done right???
Anyways, snow....hmm...let me give you a better description of it. To me....snow is like God's suffering a serious dandruff problem and He just have a knack at shaking em' off at this time of the year. You see this white flakes falling down from the sky just like dandruff flakes falling off a non-Pantene consumer. The only difference is that snow flakes don't smell and we don't have fun throwing dandruff at each other.
Snow....it's actually a real nuisance ya know, they block traffic, they block trains, they kill...yeah, plenty of cases where snow piled on the roof just come sliding down and next thing you know, you're all naked and you have a pair of wings with a glowing ring above the head.
Otherwise, snow is great. Since everything is white, you get an impression that the place is very very clean. No dirt, no rubbish...all concealed under dandruff-from-sky. Here's a few pic for your pleasure...

And of course...I went snow boarding. That itself made me 13.67% cooler than any of you out there. You can dress up like a supermodel and all, and i'll just come and say "hey! ever done snow boarding?? No? haha....you dare call yourself a person??"....nah...just kidding yo....but seriously, snow boarding is cool!! Actually...to be precise, boarding isn't cool for the first day. All I did was climb up the slope then roll all the way down....climb up again, and tumble all the way down again...Sigh...such embarrassment. There were chair lifts but us P.I.Cs figured that it'd be a waste of money since we are beginners and resorted to climbing. But thank g.....no, thank my parents they gave me this …umm… this…dunno what to call it but by the second day, I managed to slide all the way down without falling even once. And at mid-day second day, I was already a speed demon.
*no pic of me snow boarding...I was the cameraman....and as skilled as i am, I can't take pic of myself while i board....I did take a video though..*

That was the time where I felt the true pleasure of snow boarding….the effortless gliding….free to go any direction I want to…it was like the whole slope was meant for me…free….like a bird….
But too bad I’m not a bird and I don’t have a 360 degree vision. I keep crashing with chics around me. I was like sliding with my body sideways when this chic comes from behind me and WHAM!! Next thing I know, I was seeing all white and I’m drooling like a retard…. Damn those amateurs….ehem….I mentioned chic because the only guy I crashed with was P.I.C Jeremy. The others were all jap chics looking for a good time. The truth…is out there….du DU du Du du duuu…..
And so ends my wonderful winter holidays….there’s more to it (We went Disneyland!! did my New year countdown there....don't know whether can call it countdown but what the heck..) but scared Kelly might mengamuk…and when she does…she tweets up a loooong tweety blog to torture any readers who tweets by her site…and that includes me.

Nagano 2 : Misdirected hostility
Okay, gotta apologised again for blogging a late entry. Just came back from yet another trip. Too busy having fun...
Anyways, for this blog, it's about how us M'sians men 'sia sui' kan M'sia's name by accidently commiting 3 misdirected hostilites...may be a bit long but interesting-ness guaranteed.
Chapter 1:
Scene: Night when I reached the Backpackers inn
Time: 0030
Owner: I want to explain about the kitchen rules here, can someone come with me please?
P.I.Cs: Randy, you go la....with that mafia headgear, he might give you free food!
CRAPPED!!: Sigh....okay,okay...
At the Kitchen....
Owner: Here, you can cook anything you want but please clean up afterwards. Please don't leave it like this frying pan here, I wonder who used this. And about food, you can have anything here that's marked "FREE" with black marker, like these peanut butter and margarine. Please don't mistaken with "OWNER" or "NAO (Owner's wife)" . That's ours.
CRAPPED!!: Okay, understood. I'll let them know....thank you and goodnight.
Owner: Goodnight, hope you get good rest.
Next morning at the kitchen...
P.I.C Jeremy: Morning Randy...
CRAPPED!!: Morning...breakfast??
P.I.C Jeremy: So, what can eat and what cannot eat??
CRAPPED!!: Uhh....from what I heard yesterday, he said the ones "marked" means can eat....
P.I.C Jeremy: You sure?? Sure ah?? then i'm frying the eggs...okay right? it's marked "NAO"
CRAPPED!!: Yeah, why not...I think so...maybe....uhh...maybe....
P.I.C Jeremy: SURE OR NOT??
CRAPPED!!: Yeah yeah, sure....say, can fry one for me, thanx.
And so he opened a new packed of eggs, fried them. I saw an english guy sliced some bread .... I went on to slice some for myself and Jeremy. We later had breakfast at the common hall, adjoining to the kitchen. At that time, P.I.C Fook Hee was helping himself with an egg as well....happily frying it when Nao, owner's wife walked in the kitchen and opened the fridge reaching for the eggs....her new and shiny pack of eggs, carefully decorated with her name "NAO". Me and Jeremy, both noticing her, tensed up a bit when....
Nao: Eh?
(Looking around here and there...then counting very slowly...)
Nao: 1..... 2... 3... 4... 5...6...
(Looked around again furiously, then counted again, this time using her finger.)
Nao: 1..... 2... 3... 4... 5...6...
(She looked around again. This time noticing P.I.C Fook hee frying an egg...happily. Guess what fook hee did in response? He smiled.....smiled at her and said "good morning" in a cheerful voice.....)
Sensing the situation, I immediately rushed to the kitchen and apologized to her. Damn it was scary...since she had that "garang" look, I apologized profusely, saying i made a mistake and promosing to replace them. She must be super mad cause' she didn't utter a single word....hell, she didn't even blink!! Sigh....know what?? turned out that the bread wasn't free as well. It belong to that english guy. Worse, I sliced the bread in front of him!!
Can't blame me right?? I-I was tired and sleepy that night before...and I was never a good listener at "taklimat" .
Chapter 2.
Scene: After a tiring day of snowboarding, P.I.C wanted to have a nice hot shower...
Time: Evening
P.I.C have been waiting to use the bathroom for almost an hour...couldn't be patient anymore, he asked around and one of the "ang mo kau" said that it might be his friend Jerry. Take note that he said "might"....So, Jeremy, being impatient went to the bathroom which is downstairs...
P.I.C Jeremy: (Irritated voice) Excuse me, Jerry? Can you hurry up please??
From inside the bathroom: Okay...okay.....
P.I.C Jeremy waited for another few minutes....couldn't be any more patient than that,
P.I.C Jeremy: Excuse me! Oi! Hurry Up PLEASE!!
Then, Jeremy's prayers was answered by the sound of bathroom door unlocking....and guess who came out?? The Owner and his wife!! P.I.C Jeremy had apparently done a very good job at asking the two owners of the place to "hurry up" while they were having their own private (and intimate) time in the bathroom. Sigggghhh.....Jeremy, jeremy.....congratz la....
Chapter 3
Scene: At the driveway.
Time: Evening.
Remember the egg incident? Well, in case you don't.....OH MY GOD!! You should see a doctor or a psychitriast...get help!!! Ehem.....Anyway, i said i will replace the four eggs i stole from her. Not those "eggs" ya...just normal chicken eggs. So...
CRAPPED!!: Excuse me Mr. Owner, uhh...do you know where can i buy eggs??
Owner: (with a smile) Yea, you can get them from Jusco. I'll give you guys a lift there later okay?
CRAPPED!!: Sure, thanks a lot. I appreciate it.
And he drove us 4 fellas all the way to Jusco, which is about 10 minutes away...just to buy a pack of eggs. Don't make sense right? Wasting petrol on a freezing night just to buy a pack of eggs. Sigh....*malu*...*malu*....
I think from now on, M'sia will be blacklisted d....bet we'll be labeled as "Egg robber"....hahaha...funny, we come all the way to Japan only to curi telur ayam!!

Nagano 1 : snow....Snow...Snow!!.....SNOW!!!!!
Foreword:
I feel soo good today I suddenly feel like writing my blog again. Why is that? well, I think i did quite well for my final papers just now...YEAH!! I feel good...nah nah nah nah nah nah nah...
Okay, I'll pick up my story from the braided part. After surprising my P.I.Cs with my hair and getting a dozen bitter and sour comments from them...(as a matter of fact, I've never get any good ones from them before...) . We slept at the Malaysian student house in Tokyo, city that never sleeps. I was sooooo unfortunate to be placed beside J.C. He pulled the blanket all to himself I've to get myself another one from the closet. Ceh, selfish)%!#"##&%
Next morning, we made our way north to a place called Nagano. For those who don't know what kind of place dear Randy chosen, it's where they had Winter Olympics. Anyway, the journey there was ...umm...how should i say it? painfully wonderful? horrible but exciting? Hmm....the story's like this. We get to enjoy the scenery as we took our 12 hour journey north, it was brick and glass...then changing to greeneries....and then a sea of snow that streches as far as eye can see. Wow....I....I just can't excatly describe what i felt when i first saw snow....just...wow. Forgetting my cool (braided my hair, had to pretend i'm a cold-blooded killer)...I started jumping up and down in the train while pointing outside the window, shouting "SNOW!! OH MY GOD!! SNOW!!!" .....well, not exactly jumping up and down (are you kidding? I'm not a bunny, I'm a freaking cold-blooded killer!) ... but just staring outside the whole time without even blinking my eyes once. The shouting was true though.
As nice as snow looks like, it's never good to have snow on the train tracks...especially when I'm travelling on it. We stopped for about an hour at almost each station. But can't say that was a bad thing also....when the train stops, we get to play snow! Okay, snow feels like....just like the ABC without syrup, soft and cold. Well, for a moment we were all enjoying snow with our bare hands....you know, all peace and tranquil.....until a snowball flew across the delicate atmosphere and landed on "I forgotten who" ....shattering all peace and tranquility the moment it struck "I forgotten who" . SNOW FIGHT!!!!! And then we were there, throwing snow at each other, until the train master had to blow the whistle at us...oops, time to hop on the train. Hmm...when the next stop again??
The actual plan was reach nagano by 6 that evening...but we instead reached at 11.30 at night. Can't say I was pissed at the delay cos' I was having soooo much fun throwing snow at J.C. anyway, at the station, we had the Backpacker's Inn fellas to pick us up with a van. No....not because we're manja...although we had the very manja Sze Ting, but that's not the point. It was late and bus service's over. We reached the backpackers at 12 something after travelling through 3 meter high snow walls...actually, not snow walls, just that it snowed so much that they had to pave a road! Funny, I felt like I'm a lab mice, going through a maze, just no cheese at the exit.
Oh, before I end, I had to comment on the female P.I.C in our group, Chin Sze Ting. On the train, she was the most energetic of all, with energy rivalling the Bunny from Energizer. She was like "Wei...don't sleep early tonight larr....why not we play Chor Tai Ti...or build snow man...or just snow fight lar hor...you guys don't sleep har!!!" Well, easier said than done, she was snoring like a pig in the van. And when we reached the inn, she was mumbling and grumbling how tired she was and that she would sleep without having a shower 1st. The bomb was when I told her she had to put on the sheets 1st...hah hah hah...man, you should have seen her face!!
And being the leader of the group, elected because of my hair I suppose, went to receive "taklimat" from the owner...on rules concerning food in the kitchen. Well, I was dead tired from travelling the whole day, so, did Randy paid enough attention?? or didn't he......
PS: Have to apologize for no pics....my pics is with J.C...

Unintended Interruptions...
Once again, sorry la fellas...
wanted to write in my winter hols series, this time with more funny stuff and crazy stuff, but suddenly, i'm interrupted by a lot of things...
Okay, first of all, darn Yahoo and MSN won't let me transfer photo file. Don't know why...my dear P.I.C tried sending me them photos using an online service but still....
Then, there's work...tonnes of work. To be exact it's about 2354 kg of work. There's reports, assignments, not related to school work. Hell, I even have to help clean the toilets!!.......okay, that was a lie but I'm just trying to sound busy.
And the biggest and lamest excuse of all, exam's coming. I screwed up quite bad last exam, so gotta study hard to make up for it. Know what's lamer than that?? Well, Chinese New Year's yesterday right? Guess how I spent it? Gambling with my pen and paper, betting ink. THIS year, I have especially bad luck. I keep losing my ink to paper. Sigh...first time i spend my CNY studying. The irony is, while i'm at it, I remembered how i teased Olive that she even studies during CNY. Bet she'll laugh at this.
Sorry la guys...wanna write but gotta do my ass. K-lar...gotta go back to studying.
PS: Ass means assignments. And I'll be back on Feb 23 night. See y'all in Melaka....

Tale of a Braided haired guy in Tokyo...
Pre-script:
Pics?? Patience...patience....moreover, the previous post was dedicated to the girl I met. And i was sooo engrossed in chitty chitty chatter that I forgot to ask for her pic...sorry.
K, before i go on with what I did during my hols, I like to dedicated this to myself...or more precisely, my hair. Okay...just like the title says...I braided my hair. Have been keeping my hair for almost a year now, it's uhh..around shoulder length. Oh yeah...go ahead, frown your brows and say "WHAT? yucks!"...I bet all of you will say that but whatever. Reality is, I braided my hair.
This, I have been wanting to do for a very very very long time...

And so many of you will ask...why? Hmm...why indeed. Well, I had that hair style, the short one, for almost 2 decades, I eventually got bored of looking at myself in the mirror. I was like, "Aww, NOT you again!!!!"...everytime i got out of the shower. And also, having my mom off my ears (she have exceptional talent in nagging...but don't all our moms...), I finally felt that I had had enough reasons to do something drastic. So, since I left M'sia, I kept and nurtured my hair (I actually soaked them in Rambutan tree fertilizers 2 hours a day, then wash them off with hair tonic, then sprinkle donut crumbs on it...figured that hair need food to grow, right? Well, it worked.), and I haven't visited the barber till now.
Having my hair braided was really fun! Know what? Braided hair comes with an attitude. And also a "Mafia-ish" aura that emits so strongly from your head.
Just so you know, I have roll-call everyday at 10 p.m. I visited a hair salon one day, went right after school....took 4 hour just to get it done!! So, had my hair done just before the roll call. And since I had my hair done that way, I uhh..."purposely" enter the hall late, I was practically the last one to enter! heh heh...you should have seen their faces that day. The hall, which was noisy at first, went momentarily silent...all eyes fixed on me as I "catwalked" to my seat. Then, everyone started talking again...while stealing glances at me of course.... No need to be psychic to know what their topic was. Heh heh...call me show off but I just couldn't resist doing it!!! And imagine again my classmates' reaction when I enter the class the next morning...late again of course....
Okay, that was when I was in school. So what about the rest of the world?? Well, Since there's so much to tell, I'll just tell the best ones.
The REAL fun of having braided hair started when I 1st boarded the train with it. At that time, the train was packed with people but .... with the help of a lil' frown on my face, no one stood around me!! Train might be packed but umm....I had quite a comfortable space around me. And at one time, when I sat on the seat, no one actually dared seat beside me!! There was once when this lady was heading for the seat when I looked up, she saw me with my braid and frown, stopped in her tracks for a few seconds, then turn away and stood facing away from me. Haha...man that was entertaining. Bad-ass as I was, I never meant to rob seats off old ladies ... never knew my braid would have such an effect! Anyway, only after standing up and walking to the end of the train, then the lady and some other fella filled the empty 3-seats....I actually stood all the way!!...better having a circle around me than 2 empty seats right??
Anyway, I reached my destination for the day, Shinjuku. Shinjuku is reputed to have quite a crowd of commuters since it's like the center or something like that. At nornal times, anyone would have a difficult time making their way trough, but as for me....the crowd actually parted and made way for me!! As if I was holding a knife dripping with blood, all it took was one glance and they instantly jump out of the way....man, I felt like a KING!!! (or you could also say a leper which will have the same effect i suppose, but king suits me better right? he he he...)
Next was my visit to Harajuku. Harajuku, is a well-known hip place. It's where the Bold & the Trendy meet. Place where fashion and style rules. Place where you can dress like a clown and still be labeled as trendy (You can think of Harajuku as a place with many clowns, but there are also real trendy ones there..) . Anyway, along the streets, there's foreigners, mostly african americans, working part time there, all holding brochures and trying to pull people to their shops... Well, last time when I was there, I was mostly ignored, approached only by 2 or 3...but this time.. Heck, I was approached by every single one!! They were like ..." Hey bro, take a look at this....Hey bro, wanna take a look at my shop"
Sigh....no regrets at all having my hair braided. The same as my P.I.Cs...they had fun calling me Mafia. All the time threatening me that they would deliberately provoke a yakuza, then have me fight with them....haih, such "nice" friends.
Well, that's not all to it.....
The bad side of it was that...damn, it's itchy!! Even after shampooing...lightly of course, feels itchy. It was like having a whole family of fleas, along with granma and granpas dining on my head! Talk about having a turkey for Christmas, thay have my brains for a feast!! Compared with the itchiness, hell would just be like a tickle on the ribs. Price to pay for having old ladies stand in a train huh??
Anyway, I endured it for about...2 weeks I think. Curious bout how I look after taking it off?? Here's a peek...
Pics?? Patience...patience....moreover, the previous post was dedicated to the girl I met. And i was sooo engrossed in chitty chitty chatter that I forgot to ask for her pic...sorry.

Here's a peek...

................I agree.............I don't agree, but what the hell...

Yup, there i go again, "donating" money to "organizations" that mostly sell ice creams and can drinks....okay, I meant go waste my money doing something stupid (stupid=fun) again..
This time, thank go....no, thank the Prime Minister of Japan, I have the same winter holiday as the rest of Japan, unlike summer....blast it. Anyway, this time....me and my partners in crime planned a snow-boarding trip to Nagano and then have more fun in Disneyland. Well, the actual layout of the plan was this...
Dec 23rd : Me and my PIC (partners in crime) rendezvous at the Malaysian Student House.
Dec 24-25 : Go butt around in Tokyo irritating people and robbing pictures
Dec 26-28 : Go disturb and disrupt the snow on the ski slopes. If possible, bully small kids as well.
Dec 29 : Crash at Hotel Kisarazu, hold the place for ransom.
Dec 30 : Go blackmail Mickey and pick Daisy away from Donald
Dec 31 : Meet up candy addicts at Hotel Kisarazu (these addicts can't afford Marijuana)
Jan 1st : Retreat to my crib....police cops might stake out to capture me!
And so, that was the plan. BUT.....Malaysians be malaysians......
My loyal PIC, Jeremy Cheong Chong Meng messed up. He thought that 23rd was 22nd!! In other words, he thought today was yesterday. In more words...I have tonnes of insult but since he treated me with kindness, and I'm still hoping for him to send me pictures, I'll rest my insult here. Anyway, since "that guy" messed up, I end up in Tokyo.....alone. Lucky me that I have another M'sian buddy in Tokyo, Nix. I called Nix and thank gawd he was conveniently free at that time!! So, I scrapped the rendezvous plan and crash at his place instead. Well, like the title says, blessings in disguise....
You see, at Nix's place, I met his senior, a girl name Caroline. STOP! Don't raise that eyebrow and go "heh heh heh".....She's a few years my senior and she's doing her PhD here in Japan. Anyway, she looks very much younger than her age. Actually, she was just there to take her stuff she asked Nix to buy...she stood at the door holding the plastic bag, I said hello, chatted a lil' and Nix invited her in. So, we ended up sitting in Nix's room chatting away....and before we know it, the clock striked 12!! Time for supper.....
We bought some chows from a nearby minimart, head back to Nix's room and chatted again. We later found out that she have an appointment early in the morning....but since it was already 4 o' clock, there no point sleeping right? Right. So, we all took a shower and we walked her to the train station and bid farewell...her farewell was a bit weird...no, make that very weird. "See you later alligater, see in a while crocodile" . Hmm....yea, anyway that was what mostly happened.
Well then what did i really mean by blessings in disguise?? Here goes...
She was working in a quite established company in M'sia before coming here. So, you can say that she had had a respectable working experience. And from chatting with her, I learned more or less about the working life, the stuggles and sacrifices you need to survive. I also gained quite a lot about what it takes to be successful in a job interview, mostly the Do's and Don'ts, she was once an interviewer so...i kinda know a bit about what they are looking for. Also from the wise one, no, not light bulb wielding Yoda or Obi Wan Kenobi, but Caroline.... on her opinions on life, to be precise, her life, but i enjoyed listening to her points of view. These stuff, my lads...are valuable stuff, at least they are to me. From a selfish point of view, I can say that I don't need to go to such troubles to learned what she learned. Anyway, I came to respect her a lot....i don't meet many people of such trait.
So, from cursing my PIC, I thanked him instead. If he had been right about today is today and not yesterday, we would have been chatting about nonsense and argue if Goofy ever had a kid!! Pointless nonsenstical crap right?? Or worse....waste money shopping for windows....gosh...
Okay...that's all for this time. Next's about my visit to the fish market. Place where they auction Tuna fish as big as Kian Min (note to PPKTJ folks...this is a chubby friend of mine).

Dreaming dreams...
My last post....I was trying to tell about the freezing temperature here but seems that all everyone ever looked at was that "apek" bicycle. Hmm, seems like you guys just missed the point of my blog. I wonder what will you guys look at at this blog then...楽しみ。。。。
Here goes...
Lately, I've been having dreams....yeah, so what?? everyone have dreams, why is mine so special? Well, it's not. But i'd like to share it anyway.
Most of my dreams lately have been about me going back to M'sia. In one of my dreams, I met up with my brother (he works in MAS now) in a varsity in India (beats me why India and not Japan!!). Anyway, we were rushing to the airport but we manage to stop at one of the shops in the campus there. Caring for the shop was this girl Shaila (Someone I know back in M'sia) . She invited us in and offered us murukus (I wonder if this have got anything to do with me missing Deepavali?? hmm..). It's funny that we were happily munching away when we were suppose to be at the airport.
Anyway, my dream fast forwarded and me and my bro arrived at the airport. We headed to the check-in gate when a faceless guard there told us that we were 3 minutes late and thus, not allowed to board. Man, did i regret sitting munching away murukus....then came my mum, out of nowhere of course, and talked to the guard. She failed to get us through, but did manage to get the guard to give us some help (you see...My mum have always been a pro in price haggling ). Guard told us we can skip the gate and board the plane directly. He then pointed to the stairs that appeared right behind us. So, what else? Me, my bro and my mum rushed up the flight of stairs and managed to get into the plane right before they shut the hatch, and oh, I did that jump-slide-before-door-closes-completely.
Now safely in the plane due Malaysia, I sat down in my seat, close my eyes..... and wake up in my bed. Bummer....
It's really weird that i have this dream. It's not like i'm homesick or something....I'm perfectly fine with the way I am, with the place I'm at. With my parents calling every week, it feels like i'm not that far away after all! But then my dream tells me otherwise....
