................I agree.............I don't agree, but what the hell...

Yup, there i go again, "donating" money to "organizations" that mostly sell ice creams and can drinks....okay, I meant go waste my money doing something stupid (stupid=fun) again..

This time, thank go....no, thank the Prime Minister of Japan, I have the same winter holiday as the rest of Japan, unlike summer....blast it. Anyway, this time....me and my partners in crime planned a snow-boarding trip to Nagano and then have more fun in Disneyland. Well, the actual layout of the plan was this...

Dec 23rd : Me and my PIC (partners in crime) rendezvous at the Malaysian Student House.

Dec 24-25 : Go butt around in Tokyo irritating people and robbing pictures

Dec 26-28 : Go disturb and disrupt the snow on the ski slopes. If possible, bully small kids as well.

Dec 29 : Crash at Hotel Kisarazu, hold the place for ransom.

Dec 30 : Go blackmail Mickey and pick Daisy away from Donald

Dec 31 : Meet up candy addicts at Hotel Kisarazu (these addicts can't afford Marijuana)

Jan 1st : Retreat to my crib....police cops might stake out to capture me!

And so, that was the plan. BUT.....Malaysians be malaysians......
My loyal PIC, Jeremy Cheong Chong Meng messed up. He thought that 23rd was 22nd!! In other words, he thought today was yesterday. In more words...I have tonnes of insult but since he treated me with kindness, and I'm still hoping for him to send me pictures, I'll rest my insult here. Anyway, since "that guy" messed up, I end up in Tokyo.....alone. Lucky me that I have another M'sian buddy in Tokyo, Nix. I called Nix and thank gawd he was conveniently free at that time!! So, I scrapped the rendezvous plan and crash at his place instead. Well, like the title says, blessings in disguise....

You see, at Nix's place, I met his senior, a girl name Caroline. STOP! Don't raise that eyebrow and go "heh heh heh".....She's a few years my senior and she's doing her PhD here in Japan. Anyway, she looks very much younger than her age. Actually, she was just there to take her stuff she asked Nix to buy...she stood at the door holding the plastic bag, I said hello, chatted a lil' and Nix invited her in. So, we ended up sitting in Nix's room chatting away....and before we know it, the clock striked 12!! Time for supper.....
We bought some chows from a nearby minimart, head back to Nix's room and chatted again. We later found out that she have an appointment early in the morning....but since it was already 4 o' clock, there no point sleeping right? Right. So, we all took a shower and we walked her to the train station and bid farewell...her farewell was a bit weird...no, make that very weird. "See you later alligater, see in a while crocodile" . Hmm....yea, anyway that was what mostly happened.

Well then what did i really mean by blessings in disguise?? Here goes...
She was working in a quite established company in M'sia before coming here. So, you can say that she had had a respectable working experience. And from chatting with her, I learned more or less about the working life, the stuggles and sacrifices you need to survive. I also gained quite a lot about what it takes to be successful in a job interview, mostly the Do's and Don'ts, she was once an interviewer so...i kinda know a bit about what they are looking for. Also from the wise one, no, not light bulb wielding Yoda or Obi Wan Kenobi, but Caroline.... on her opinions on life, to be precise, her life, but i enjoyed listening to her points of view. These stuff, my lads...are valuable stuff, at least they are to me. From a selfish point of view, I can say that I don't need to go to such troubles to learned what she learned. Anyway, I came to respect her a lot....i don't meet many people of such trait.

So, from cursing my PIC, I thanked him instead. If he had been right about today is today and not yesterday, we would have been chatting about nonsense and argue if Goofy ever had a kid!! Pointless nonsenstical crap right?? Or worse....waste money shopping for windows....gosh...

Okay...that's all for this time. Next's about my visit to the fish market. Place where they auction Tuna fish as big as Kian Min (note to PPKTJ folks...this is a chubby friend of mine).
